About Me
I’m a qualified osteopath based in Southampton, with a passion for helping people understand their bodies, manage pain and improve their overall health and wellbeing.
I qualified as an osteopath in 2019, completing a Master’s degree in Osteopathy, alongside a Diploma in Osteopathy and a Diploma in Naturopathy. My training has given me a broad understanding of the body and the different factors that can contribute to pain, discomfort and restricted movement.
Although I’m now based in Southampton, I was born and brought up in Essex in an Italian-English bilingual household, which has always been an important part of who I am.
Outside of osteopathy, I have a keen interest in sport and staying active. I enjoy football, going to the gym and playing darts, and I’m a big sports fan in general. I follow a wide range of sports, including the NFL, NBA, tennis, snooker and, of course, football.
My interest in sport has helped shape my understanding of movement, injuries and the physical demands placed on the body, both during sport and in everyday life. I have previous experience using osteopathy in the fitness industry helping athletes achieve peak performance.
My Approach to Osteopathy
My approach to osteopathy is centred around looking at the body as a whole, rather than simply focusing on the area where you are experiencing pain.
When assessing a patient, I look beyond the immediate symptoms to understand what may be aggravating or maintaining the problem. This may involve considering other areas of the body, movement patterns, lifestyle, activity levels and other factors that could be contributing to your symptoms.
I use a combination of hands-on osteopathic treatment and practical advice tailored to each individual. Where appropriate, this can include exercises, self-care strategies and guidance to help you better understand your symptoms and take an active role in your recovery.
I believe that treatment is only one part of the process. My aim is not simply to provide hands-on treatment, but to help you understand your body and give you the tools and knowledge to support your recovery between appointments and in the long term.
Whether you’re experiencing back pain or neck pain, recovering from an injury, dealing with a sports-related problem or looking to improve your movement and physical wellbeing, I aim to provide a personalised osteopathic approach based on you, your body and your individual needs.
If you’re looking for an osteopath in Southampton, my aim is to provide thoughtful, individualised care that considers both your symptoms and the wider factors that may be contributing to them.
